Secure and confidential waste

Another service that Nicholls & Pearce can provide is the destruction of secure and confidential waste.  Under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, it is a legal requirement for organisations to securely dispose of confidential and personal data.  In our secure location, we can ensure that papers of a confidential nature are shredded then either baled, recycled or destroyed.  We don't just handle paper: we dispose of other materials and once destroyed will issue customers with a Certificate of Destruction.

There are a number of benefits to secure shredding:

		Financial since landfill costs and the disposal of waste are increasing
		You will avoid being prosecuted for breaching confidentiality rights.  There is a maximum penalty plus cost of £5,000 in a magistrate's court or an unlimited fine in the Crown Court.
